He must be the Anti-Sonic, because the blue blur would never bawl his brains out like that.

It was revealed on Tuesday in the upcoming Sonic Chronicles that Amy’s finally gotten tired of the fangirl routine and found a new beau. One that doesn’t try to run away.

Dare I say, BioWare is making Amy seem rather well adjusted. Or completely fucking up chara dynamic depending on which type of fan you happen to be.

Me, I usually use the fan reaction as a barometer for my personal opinions on upcoming Sonic games. Specifically, the more fans get pissed off about the plot, the more I seem to like it. And, damn, I’m more eager for this game than ever, now!

The smug icing on the vitriolic cake would be for BioWare to announce a Sally cameo. ‘Twill be such a feast on that day!

UPDATE:

Bear with me folks. Filler Tuesday evening, and then we should be back on track for Thursday.

Welcome to Power Rings’ new sister comic, Double Prime!

Double Prime will have a continuous narrative featuring a unique reinterpretation and extrapolation of the comic’s universe and gives Sonic and acquaintances an epic tale to experience. (Translation: things may get emo.)

So, enjoy the beginnings of Double Prime. The next page will update on Friday.

In case you didn’t know, in the background of the Green Hill Zone stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, three other Sonic characters make cameos running through the shuttle loop. Tails, Knuckles, and Silver. Tails and Knuckles are at least reasonable. Even though neither of them were in Sonic 1, they were both from the Genesis days. But Silver’s presence escapes me. Perhaps they wanted someone more representative of the modern incarnation of the franchise, but if you ask me, and no offense to Silver fans out there, there are more iconic choices.

This is only filler. Regular comic Thursday!

When one door closes, another door opens. And for Sonic, those doors tend to lead to epic dickery.

So what horrible fate is in store for Knuckles now that Sonic has a horrible plan? The answers coming… later, because this arc is done. Ha! You’ll notice we didn’t change Cream back. That’s right, folks, she’s going to be staying this way for the foreseeable future. Kamal and Gear have just grown so attached to her. I think it’s the boobies.

Also, for those who tried to access the forum earlier today and were greeted with an error message, sorry about that. A temporary problem that has been resolved.

Bit of a delay for Saturday. Needed some new sprites. We’ll get the next comic up ASAP, either Sunday or Monday!

Upon revelation of a particular line of dialouge in BioWare’s forthcoming Sonic game, the tubes were crammed with apoplectic Amy fans, frothing at the mouth over her use of what they termed as swear words.

When did insults become equated with cussing? Maybe it’s just me–I barely consider “ass” something worth getting worked up over–but just ask a Sally-hater what they think of her chara. Then you’ll get language fit for the trashbin.

Yup, poor Tails just can’t get a break. Poor kid’s got a terrible track record.

In other news, there’s a leaked gameplay trailer for Sonic Unleashed. If I wasn’t positive that the story was going to be 100% ass (Werehogs, anyone?), I’d actually be excited. Not only because it’s apparently coming out for the Wii as well (I don’t own a 360 or a PS3), but it actually looks like Sonic Team is finally getting the 3D gameplay formula right. But that seems to be the trend with Sonic nowadays: taking the good with the bad, and hoping the taste of the bad doesn’t overpower the taste of the good.
