So what will happen now that Nicole has control over an entire city? We’ll both have to wait for that answer. This will be the last time we’ll be seeing Ian for a while. We could continue skewering him with out considerable wit, but everyone deserves a reprieve. ^_^

Don’t expect full comics for the rest of this week until at least next Monday. I’ve got exams all this week, and we’re working on something for next week. But in the meantime, we’ll be getting fillers up for the rest of this week!

A thought came to me earlier when I was reflecting on the game Sega Superstars Tennis. Sonic has been in a lot of different genres lately, and it seems that most of them, Mario did it first. Think about it.
Mario Kart –> Sonic Riders
Mario Party –> Sonic Shuffle
Mario Tennis –> Sega Superstars Tennis
Mario Golf –> Sega Spash Golf
And of course there’s Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Not to mention the upcoming Sonic RPG by Bioware. It makes you wonder what Sonic’s next genre’s going to be… Sonic Strikers Charged, anyone?
Kamal missed getting the comic up Tuesday, but to make up for it, there’s a new wallpaper on the Art page by Pixle, based on this filler. Go check it out, and we’ll be back Wednesday or Thursday!

Identity Crisis

It has come to my attention that in the new Sonic Rivals 2 Metal Sonic receives an upgrade to Metal Sonic v3.0 with a snazzy new paint job. I have tried my best to locate pictures but to date I’ve been unsuccessful.
So, I’d like to make a request to any Power Rings fan who owns a PSP, a copy of the game, and a camera or webcam to send me a few images of the new Metal Sonic. Our email is linked to the “Contact” button on the menu bar.

I know, I’m as surprised as you are.
Kamal and Gear got a chance to play Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. Perhaps one of them will give you their impressions of it soon.
On a site-related note, I noticed that TopWebComics has changed how their voting system works, and as such all the links on our site to our voting page were broken. I have updated the TWC buttons on all affected pages to point to the new voting pages.
No idea where Monday’s update is. Can’t reach Kamal. Hopefully he’ll get something to me tonight, and if not we’ll get it up tomorrow.

Kamal needs a bit more time to finish the comic, so here’s some filler to distract you.
Yeah, in Sonic 181, we learned that somehow, Remington was indeed alive and well, and working for the Dark Legion as a Kragok look-alike. Apparently he had been brainwashed by them, but thanks to Knuckles/Enerjak’s meddling, now he’s back to normal. Just in time to be rendered irrelevant by Knuckles/Enerjak sending all the Echidnas away.
Makes me wonder what the point was.
