Just a quick filler to tie you over until Kamal gets his problems sorted out.

Over the last week, Kamal and Gear have been switching over to a new ISP. This has not come without its own share of troubles, and so Kamal has spent inordinate amounts of time in communication with tech support personnel from various companies, and as a result has had to put the comic on the back burner for a little while. These difficulties should be resolved soon, so with any luck we’ll be able to get back to a normal updating schedule. Thank you all for bearing with us.

And in relation to this strip… Yeah, it seems that Blaze has been getting quite a bit of screentime. Sonic Rush, Rush Adventure, Sonic 2006, and even in multiplayer mode of Sonic and the Secret Rings and in Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. I wonder why that is…

Arc resumes on Saturday!

Ah, Sonic Rush Advenure. How I longed for you…

Wait a minute. I actually like this game. How the hell am I going to bring myself to make fun of this?

Damn you, Sega! What have you done?!

G30FF

Sorry, folks. Thanks to some technical difficulties, we’ve been unable to get the comic ready. We’ll be back on Thursday!

If we miss Thursday, it’s all Kamal’s fault. We’ll try, otherwise look for it Friday!

He’s just kidding, folks. We begin a new arc on Monday!

Yeah, Kamal and I are both eagerly awaiting the Canadian release of Sonic Rush Adventure for the DS. It seems to be a trend up here that Sega games appear in stores about a week after the scheduled release date for the United States. No idea why, but I seriously hope EB Games gets it in this weekend, and that the rumor I heard that we won’t be seeing it until October 10th is false.

G30FF

Don’t know if we’ll have a comic Thursday. If not, I’ll try to make some filler for Friday!

This is only filler. New comic up on Thursday or Friday.

When Sonic Rush first came out, I noticed there were a huge number of fans of Shadow and Blaze as a couple. To this day I still can’t fathom why. They have never interacted in any game, including the one game they both appeared in together as main characters (Sonic ’06). It seems that the only rationale said fans had was that they were similar. As we demonstrate here, that’s partly true. They both have convoluted as hell pasts. Personally, I think the majority of Shadow and Blaze fans are disgruntled Sonic and Amy fans who want to get Blaze away from Sonic.

If you know me, you know how I feel about Blaze. If not, let this be some insight into the dark recesses of my twisted mind.

In the comics, the nanites of which I reference were responsible, through Nicole’s direction, for recreating Mobotropolis, Sonic’s home city.

In our reality, we’ll be lucky if nanotechnology has any practical application other than fabrication and manufacturing. But it seems that New Mobotropolis wasn’t merely built by nanites but is composed of nanites that Nicole can still use to alter and presumably sense anything around her.

So if were Sonic I’d be wary of the curtain flapping against me the next time I take a shower.

We might be late Monday. Look for the new comic either Tuesday night or Wednesday!

You ever have that one jerk who like to troll and flame you wherever you go? That’s why I’m glad we have vacuum tubes hidden all over the place.

G30FF

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but… Poor Sonic.

Thus concludes this arc. Tune in next time for new stuff!
