Today’s comic sorta misleads you from my real feelings. Consider that more of a kneejerk reaction. I think it’s actually kinda great that people think enough of us that we’re a standard to follow. My uneasiness crops up when I think of the standard we’re setting.

And since I’ve been getting questions about what this means, I’ll explain. Kamal originally wanted to make fun of the way many web/sprite comics like to stretch out two line gags over four panels using dramatic silence.

Go ahead, buy some rings. See all the expert opinion? Think what it could do for your lives! I mean seriously, how many times have you seen power rings used as a plot device? Any time something huge has to happen or there’s no possible other way for it to work, a ring (or specifically Sonic’s billionth ring) becomes the convenient plot device.
Ah, Lennie. Every time I read his dialogue I think of Cosmo from Fairly Odd Parents.
