Well, I guess if you don’t mind what kind of woman you attract…

This is a first for us. This idea was given to us by an email we received from a fan who’d counted all the days from the completely arbitrary number I chose from the date that that comic was posted. Although we came up with the Juggy Prower angle.

Now before you start spamming us en masse, this was a complete fluke that we used another person’s suggestion. We’ll likely never use another one again. Just saying.

Well, it’s time for our yearly vacation. We’re taking time off to make merry, and recover from the holidays. So unfortunately this means for you that the arc is going to be on hold until at least the first week of January.

The obvious joke being, of course, “How is that different from how things are now?”

Recently some people have been publishing, let’s say, less than favourable reviews of Sonic Unleashed. Now I’m going to spare you a long winded rant and just say this: play it for yourself.

Form your own opinion and then express it in the calmest manner you can muster. Here’s mine: “This is a generally good game with a few minor flaws and a couple not so minor, all of which can be overlooked by the game’s merits.”

If you wish to elaborate, do so, and only after someone asks you first. Trust me. (Anything to keep the internet from collapsing under the weight of the human race’s collective emotional baggage.)

Tsk tsk. A widow at seventeen. Such a waste.

In regards to the middle of the road scores for Sonic Unleashed: I don’t believe critics will ever be satisfied with anything Sega turns out Sonic-wise. Ten-to-one if Unleashed used just the day levels, they’d be crying about the gameplay being too repetitive or some other damn thing.

From what I’ve seen on YouTube, this game looks fun. I won’t go into fangasms over anything, but I know I will be entertained. That’s enough for me.

So there I was, sitting that night in front of my computer. On the screen I had two different copies of Power Rings 400. One in which they did it. One in which they didn’t. All I needed was the outcome of the coin toss. The phone rang. It was G30FF with the final results. The coin had spoken. And the rest, they say, is history.

Obscurest reference EVAR! If anyone gets this I’ll be truly impressed. Especially since I paraphrased the hell out of it.

But, to be sure, this is rather momentous for our little comic. For 399 issues, variously hinted at, coyly euphemized, or perversely joked about, Sonic has slept around with almost the entire female cast. With two notable exceptions. The reason for this was, well, overlooked until we pointed it out to ourselves. All of us Power Rings authors are very much pro-SonSal (NicoleSal for me! –Tennah) and we’ve never been intimidated into hiding it, except within the pixels of PR it seems. We realized it was more a silent appeasement to SonAmy fans since, let’s face it, they are a rather vocal majority in the fandom.

So why are we now breaking this unwritten, invisible, and ultimately nonbinding commandment? Well, duh! It’s because Power Rings fans fucking ROCK! If after 400 comics we haven’t sent you frothing at the mouth and demanding our heads, I can only conclude that, no matter what, as long as we provide lulzworthy entertainment, you guys are cool with whatever happens.

And if there are any KillSally tards reading, well then this arc is just going to suuuck!
