Whoa! What the hell happened to the page?! Well, glad you asked. And if you didn’t, how come?
After having the same layout for about a year, we decided it was time for a change. So starting today, behold the brand new Power Rings! A few changes from the old layout, my personal section is gone and so is the Rants page. All the old rants are now located on the Forum, and all future rants will go there as well. We also have a new link to Incentive Zone, which also has its own archive page now. Just click the Incentive Zone link button and you’ll find it.
The pages have been changed up a bit too. On the Links page, you’ll find four, count ’em, FOUR banners of ours to choose from! We sure like those animated banners, huh? The Cast page now has Jem included, and has been broken up into sub groups of characters. The Art page has been given the biggest overhaul. Four new pictures are now up, one from Knucells, two from Oni Aeon, and one from Chalo of Las Lindas fame! We also have a new fanfic up, by yours truly. The sequel to the fanfic I wrote some time ago. It’s a lot longer, but I hope you enjoy anyway!
Finally, we have a new affiliate as you can see on the right. If you are interested in affiliating, send us an email with “Affiliate Request” in the subject line so we know you’re not trying to sell us diplomas. I believe that covers it. If you find any problems with the new layout, send us an email or let me know on the forum and I’ll get right on it.

Gleah! What a week. Right now I’m just trying to finish up some school projects and unfortunately that means letting PR fall by the wayside this week. But the schedule should return to normal by Monday. See you then.
Wow! What a week! Right now I’m still coming to grips with the fact that Power Rings has made it to final nominations in not one, but two categories in the annual Sonic Site Awards! Thank you all again to all our faithful readers, and thank you even more if you decide to vote for us.

Couldn’t get all the sprites we needed in time for today, so we’re throwing up a filler for the moment.
Recently, Ryan Drummond, the actor who played Sonic in the Adventure series and Sonic Heroes, announced that he had been replaced. He claimed he only found out he had been replaced after learning that recording for Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Riders had begun without him being contacted, and making a call to SEGA. SEGA has apparently decided that they want to maintain continuity starting with Shadow the Hedgehog, so from now on, all voice work for Sonic games will be done by the 4Kids english Sonic X cast.
I await the results with mixed feelings.
In administrative news, the forum has been given a major overhaul, along with an updated set of rules. Please read them carefully.
Update: I’m sorry for the lack of update on Monday, and if we have an update on Wednesday, it will probably be late. We’ll make it up to you all, I promise.

In other news, next week is my last week of classes before the summer break. Regrettably, this break is only two weeks but at least during that period I can actually make the updates on time. So thank you all, who’ve hung in there, and to all the new readers who found us in the last few weeks, I hope we haven’t dissuaded you from returning.
FRIDAY UPDATE
Holy crap! Okay, I know G30FF (and more than likely a few of you) are going to get pissed hearing me say this, but I can’t work around it any longer. Power Rings is going to take a short break next week while I finish up the last of my school projects before break. Gear has told me he still wants to get Incentive Zone put out tomorrow (Saturday) so there will be a regular comic to accompany it and then PR will return on July 18th.
Just to show you that I’m not trying to snow you (does anyone use “snow you” anymore?) if you hop over to the forum next week, I’ll be showcasing the fruits of my Macromedia labours.

Okay, so I’m a lying sack of shit.
Seriously, though, real life has been hectic this week. You can read my extended rant about it, but the jist is that, after more than a year of unemployment, I’m finally returning to school. So, of course, I’m going to have to change how I work on the comic to make sure we keep our update schedule on track.
Hopefully, this’ll be the only week of turmoil, so wish me luck, and keep reading!
