I Thought It Was Funny…
Kamal
I think this is as long as I can stretch it out.
To the gracious readers of Power Rings, please take some time out to enjoy Double Prime.
G30FF
Now that the promotional work is done, regular comic updates resume on Thursday!
Also, new picture on the Art page!
Damn It, Sakurai…
G30FF
In case you didn’t know, in the background of the Green Hill Zone stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, three other Sonic characters make cameos running through the shuttle loop. Tails, Knuckles, and Silver. Tails and Knuckles are at least reasonable. Even though neither of them were in Sonic 1, they were both from the Genesis days. But Silver’s presence escapes me. Perhaps they wanted someone more representative of the modern incarnation of the franchise, but if you ask me, and no offense to Silver fans out there, there are more iconic choices.
This is only filler. Regular comic Thursday!
A New Venture… In Bed – Deleted Scenes
G30FF
When you buy the special edition DVD of Power Rings, you get hours and hours of deleted scenes just like this!
I kid. This idea came out of a discussion I had with Pixle. Kamal and I liked it so much we had to do it.
This is only filler, though. We’ll be back on Monday, as we’ll be taking the weekend to plot our next story arc. See you then!
Yup, It’s Still Coming
G30FF
Yup, more filler. Comic back Monday, with any luck.
Smash Bros. Brawl is two weeks away, and with every passing moment I get more and more excited. I’ve already hyped myself up, and I can’t wait to get my Smash on. Kamal on the other hand has never been big on Smash Bros. This is a pretty accurate depiction of what happens when I try to talk to him about Brawl. The game better come out soon, for Kamal’s sanity and my safety.
Best of Enemies
G30FF
Kamal didn’t get a comic to me yesterday, but my friend Pixle offered to do some filler. Some quick, disturbing filler that will probably give me, and some of you, nightmares.
Once again, Sonic is a dick to his “friends”. You have to admit, in recent memory, Sonic and Mario have been getting a bit more chummy. First there’s Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, then Smash Bros… What’s next for these former enemies? All I can say is, get used to it, Mario.
Regular comic back on the weekend!
Heroes Arrive Late

Spoilers for Smash Bros. Brawl! It appears Sonic DOES appear in The Subspace Emissary. Just… right at the very end. Just in time to join the fight against the final boss.
You’d think the fastest thing alive would be able to join the party on time. You’d also think that he could’ve been more help to them earlier in the game, but as we’ve already established, Sonic is a world class dick. No wonder Snake just can’t like him.
Today’s only filler, since I couldn’t reach Kamal. Regular comic on Thursday!
Say What?
G30FF
So, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity… It’s not a bad game, it’s just painfully average. But the story… This takes top honours for the most ludicrous story I’ve ever seen in a Sonic game. Case in point, the quote I use here is ridiculous even IN context. Sufficed to say, apparently the Babylon Rogues are now alien genies.
Today is filler to buy Kamal some time. He’s had a rough time the last couple of days. Regular comic resumes on Thursday!
The Internet is Really Really Great…

This is Shade. She’s an antagonist from the Bioware Sonic RPG, which is officially titled Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. She appeared in the February issue of Nintendo Power. And Kamal informed me that within 7 hours of the first scans of the magazine appearing on the internet, Rule 34 had already been enacted for her. Seriously, that has to be some kind of record.
Regular comic on Thursday!
